D-backs take advantage of successful challenge in first

MILWAUKEE -- The D-backs capitalized on a successful replay challenge in the first inning on Tuesday night against the Brewers.

Arizona's Gerardo Parra singled to open, but was picked off trying to dive back to first base with one out by Brewers starter Marco Estrada. D-backs manager Kirk Gibson left the dugout and challenged the call by first base umpire Larry Vanover.

The call was overturned after a replay of one minute and 23 seconds. Paul Goldschmidt then followed with his sixth home run, a two-run shot over the left-field wall.
