MLB's first-of-its-kind digital-only broadcast will make its way west today, when the Giants host the rival D-backs at AT&T Park. The game will air live in the United States exclusively on Facebook.
The finale of this three-game set is one of 25 streaming broadcasts scheduled for 2018 as part of MLB's partnership with Facebook.
Fans can catch the 3:45 p.m. ET contest at https://www.facebook.com/MLBLiveGames/ or by logging on to Facebook's MLB Live page from their phones, tablets, smart TVs or other streaming devices. MLB Network will produce the game with play-by-play man Rich Waltz, analysts Eric Byrnes and Mike Krukow and in-game reporter Ashley Adamson.
D-backs fans will be familiar with Byrnes, who endeared himself to Arizona with his hustle and athleticism while manning the D-backs' outfield from 2006-09. And Krukow, of course, forms one half of the iconic duo in the broadcast for Giants home games alongside play-by-play man Duane Kuiper.

   What to know about the D-backs-Giants game
   Arizona weathered a rough patch in May to stay atop the National League West for the moment. Veteran righty Clay Buchholz (1-1, 1.50 ERA) has been a pleasant surprise while pitching well in all three of his starts since he signed a Minor League deal on May 4, and he'll get the ball again today. Outfielder David Peralta has helped carry the offense during Paul Goldschmidt's early-season struggles, while second baseman Ketel Marte enters the day batting .370 with nine extra-base hits over his past eight games.
   Meanwhile, fortunes are improving for the Giants as they've climbed back into the thick of the NL West race just in time for ace Madison Bumgarner to return from the disabled list. Right-hander Chris Stratton (7-3, 4.50 ERA) has been huge for San Francisco with top starters Bumgarner, Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija out of action. Stratton has employed his high-spin combination of fastballs and curveballs to allow three or fewer earned runs in nine of his 12 outings. Brandon Crawford emerged in May to lead the Giants' offense, with the ever-steady Buster Posey continuing to hover above a .300 average in his 10th MLB season.
   This is the third series of the season between these two clubs, with the D-backs taking each of the first two series in April. Arizona will host San Francisco again for a three-game series in the desert at the end of this month.
