The outfielder could reach base often against the left-handed De La Rosa, who in his career has allowed right-handed hitters such as Werth to post a .795 OPS (.647 OPS allowed to lefty batters).
Joey Votto: The first baseman has used a patient, powerful approach to build an impressive lifetime .317/.436/.548 slash line against right-handers. Votto could reach base often or score multiple runs when he bats at hitter-friendly Chase Field against righty Zack Godley (career 4.61 ERA, 1.35 WHIP) and a D-backs bullpen that ranks last in the Majors with a 5.14 ERA.
Miguel Cabrera: With a lifetime .322/.389/.563 slash line against right-handers, the first baseman has proven to be one of the best in baseball during those matchups. Cabrera could hit his 29th homer of the season or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with Angels righty Jhoulys Chacín (5.61 ERA, 1.53 WHIP in 2016).
Matt Carpenter: Eligible at second base and third base in DraftKings contests, Carpenter could enter DraftKings lineups in multiple ways when he brings his lifetime .871 OPS against right-handers (.778 vs. lefties) into a matchup with A's rookie righty Zach Neal (5.49 ERA).
Brandon Moss: With a lifetime .236 ISO against right-handers in comparison to a .158 mark vs. lefties, the first baseman will be in prime position to hit his 26th homer or the season or drive in multiple runs when he faces the inexperienced righty Neal (39 1/3 innings).
Jason Kipnis: From a premium lineup spot, the second baseman could thrive in a matchup against fly-ball-prone righty A.J. Griffin (4.68 ERA, 1.9 HR/9 rate in 2016) at homer-happy Globe Life Park in Arlington. In his career, Kipnis has produced a .352 wOBA against right-handers that exceeds his .302 mark vs. lefties.
Tyler Naquin: The rookie outfielder will be in prime position to improve on his impressive .318/.371/.596 slash line against right-handers when he bats at Texas' hitter-friendly venue against the homer-prone Griffin and a Rangers relief corps that ranks 27th in the Majors with a 4.69 ERA.
Denard Span: The outfielder will be in prime position to collect multiple hits and runs when he takes his lifetime .761 OPS against right-handers (.703 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Braves righty Mike Foltynewicz (career 5.12 ERA, 1.48 WHIP). Span could also swipe a base against catcher Tyler Flowers, who has thrown out two of 42 would-be base stealers in 2016.
