July 19th, 2016

Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.
The players listed below are in position to provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Wednesday.
Evan Longoria: In his career, the third baseman has registered a .920 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .806 mark vs. lefties. Longoria could hit his 22nd homer of the season or drive in multiple runs when he vacates his pitcher-friendly home park and bats at homer-happy Coors Field against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa (career 4.60 ERA, 1.44 WHIP) and a Rockies relief corps that ranks 28th in the Majors with a 4.96 ERA.
:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::
Logan Forsythe: Hitting leadoff, the second baseman may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime .845 OPS against left-handers (.649 vs. righties) into a matchup with the southpaw De La Rosa (5.50 ERA, 1.57 WHIP in 2016) at Colorado's offense-inducing venue. In his career, De La Rosa has allowed right-handed hitters such as Forsythe to post a .796 OPS (.645 OPS allowed to lefty batters).
Josh Donaldson: Since joining the Blue Jays at the outset of 2015, the third baseman has posted a game-changing .315/.424/.610 slash line against left-handers. Donaldson could post a notable DraftKings total when he faces D-backs southpaw Patrick Corbin (5.25 ERA, 1.51 WHIP in 2016), who in his career has allowed right-handed hitters such as Donaldson to post a .759 OPS (.681 OPS allowed to lefty batters).
Russell Martin: The catcher has emerged from a slow start to the season to post a .287/.388/.460 slash line since June 12. Martin could reach base often or drive in multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .806 OPS against left-handers (.735 vs. righties) into a matchup with the southpaw Corbin and a D-backs bullpen that ranks 26th in baseball with a 4.61 ERA.
Troy Tulowitzki: With an impressive lifetime .314/.398/.548 slash line against left-handers, the shortstop will be in great position to rip his 17th round-tripper of the season when he tangles with the left-handed Corbin and an unreliable D-backs relief corps. Also of note: Tulowitzki will attempt to put balls into play against an Arizona squad that ranks 28th in the Majors with a .673 defensive efficiency ratio.
Jonathan Lucroy: As a big leaguer, the catcher has posted an .832 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .763 mark vs. righties. Lucroy could provide elite production at a premium position when he tangles with Pirates southpaw Jeff Locke (5.26 ERA, 1.42 WHIP in 2016).
Ryan Braun: With a lifetime .336/.404/.624 slash line against left-handers, the outfielder has proven to wield a potent bat during those matchups. Braun could post a substantial DraftKings total when he meets up with the left-handed Locke (career 4.34 ERA, 1.39 WHIP).
Jay Bruce: The outfielder could add to his impressive 2016 totals of 18 homers and 64 RBIs across 329 at-bats when he hits at his offense-friendly home park against Braves righty Lucas Harrell (career 4.79 ERA, 1.56 WHIP). In his career, Bruce has logged an .814 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .719 mark vs. lefties.
Joey Votto: The first baseman has used a patient, powerful approach to build a lofty lifetime .314/.434/.544 slash line against right-handers. Votto could rip a round-tripper or reach base often when he faces the right-handed Harrell and a Braves bullpen that ranks 20th in baseball with a 4.20 ERA.
Matt Adams: The first baseman has long fared best vs. right-handers, against whom he has a lifetime .817 OPS (.574 vs. lefties). Adams could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he faces Padres righty Colin Rea (4.95 ERA, 1.43 WHIP in 2016).
Aledmys Diaz: Hitting .315 with 13 homers across 308 at-bats, the rookie shortstop has been a major contributor to many 2016 DraftKings squads. Diaz could improve on his .963 OPS against right-handers (.830 vs. lefties) when he faces the right-handed Rea (career 4.76 ERA, 1.39 WHIP) and a Padres bullpen that ranks 25th in baseball with a 4.48 ERA.
Robinson Cano: In his productive career, the second baseman has logged a lofty .317/.365/.527 slash line against right-handers. Cano could put a ball into the outfield seats or drive in multiple runs when he faces White Sox fly-ball-prone righty Miguel Gonzalez (4.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP in 2016).
David Ortiz: As a big leaguer, the slugger has posted an outstanding .983 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .813 mark vs. lefties. Ortiz could add to his impressive 2016 totals of 22 homers and 72 RBIs across 303 at-bats when he tangles with Giants righty Matt Cain (5.57 ERA, 1.51 WHIP since the outset of 2015).
Wei-Yin Chen: With a 4.90 ERA this season, the left-hander could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he faces a Phillies lineup that ranks last in the Majors with a .630 OPS against southpaws.
Felix Hernandez: With a lifetime 3.11 ERA, the right-hander has the skills to spin a gem when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against a White Sox lineup that ranks 24th in the Majors with a .702 OPS against righties.
Carlos Carrasco: Having posted a 3.04 ERA, a 1.04 WHIP and a 9.8K/9 rate since the outset of 2014, the right-hander ranks among the most dominant starters in the American League. Carrasco could post a notable DraftKings total when he faces a Royals lineup that ranks 21st in the Majors with a .715 OPS against righties.
Anthony DeSclafani: With a 2.55 ERA across seven starts since returning from a season-opening stint on the disabled list, the right-hander has been a cost-effective option in many recent DraftKings contests. DeSclafani could continue to limit the opposition when he faces a Braves lineup that ranks last in baseball in OPS vs. righties (.650) and total home runs (57).
All statistics are accurate through the completion of Monday's games.
