Evan Longoria: The third baseman has long fared best vs. left-handers, against whom he has posted a lifetime .921 OPS (.803 vs. righties). Longoria could hit his 19th homer of the season or drive in multiple runs when he tangles with Rodriguez, who has posted a 6.41 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP across five starts since returning from a season-opening stint on the disabled list.
Edwin Encarnacion: Hitting .307 with nine homers and 26 RBIs across 75 at-bats in June, Encarnacion will bring a red-hot bat into a matchup at hitter-friendly Coors Field with righty Jon Gray (career 5.07 ERA, 1.37 WHIP) and a Rockies relief corps that ranks 29th in the Majors with a 4.87 ERA.

Michael Saunders: Hitting .301 with 15 homers across 246 at-bats, the outfielder has been a cost-effective option in many 2016 DraftKings contests. Saunders could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .730 OPS against right-handers (.686 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Gray (4.80 ERA in 2016) and a Rockies squad that ranks 29th in baseball with a .672 defensive efficiency ratio.
Jason Kipnis: From a premium lineup spot, the second baseman could excel when he takes his lifetime .811 OPS against right-handers (.656 vs. lefties) into a matchup with rookie righty John Gant (4.45 ERA, 1.38 WHIP) and a Braves bullpen that ranks 20th in the Majors with a 4.19 ERA.
Nomar Mazara: The left-handed-hitting rookie outfielder will be poised to improve on his impressive .299/.352/.492 slash line against right-handers when he bats at hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium against righty Ivan Nova (career 4.41 ERA, 1.39 WHIP). Also working in Mazara's favor: New York's venue has proven to be especially power-inducing for lefty batters.
Shin-Soo Choo: From his perch atop the lineup, the left-handed-hitting outfielder could reach base often or display his power when he brings his lifetime .902 OPS against right-handers (.694 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Nova (5.18 ERA, 1.38 WHIP in 2016) at New York's homer-happy park.
Carlos Gonzalez: In his career, the outfielder has fared best when facing right-handers (.306/.369/.566 slash line) and when batting at his hitter-friendly home park (.332/.391/.627 slash line). CarGo could put a ball into the outfield seats when he hits at home against Blue Jays fly-ball-prone righty Marco Estrada (career 1.3 HR/9 rate).

Mike Trout: With a lifetime .310/.398/.570 slash line against right-handers, the outfielder has proven to wield a potent bat during those matchups. Trout may be worth a major investment in DraftKings contests when he tangles with Astros righty Collin McHugh (4.70 ERA, 1.43 WHIP in 2016).
Xander Bogaerts: Hitting .345 with nine homers, 10 steals, 57 runs and 50 RBIs across 338 plate appearances, Bogaerts has been arguably the most productive player at his premium position this season. The shortstop could contribute in multiple ways when he faces Rays rookie southpaw Blake Snell, who has posted a 1.60 WHIP across his initial three big league starts.

Dustin Pedroia: Pedroia has historically performed better against lefties during his big league tenure, recording a lifetime .844 OPS in those situations (.796 vs. RHP). Facing the inexperienced Snell, the second baseman could continue a successful 2016 season that has seen him hit .305 in 295 at-bats.
Jason Heyward: The left-handed hitter has produced stark lifetime splits -- specifically, an .822 OPS vs. righties that far exceeds his .662 mark against same-sided hurlers. The outfielder could find success at the plate Monday against Reds righty Dan Straily, who owns a career 4.41 ERA and a 1.3 HR/9 rate. He could also put his speed to the test against Cincinnati backstop Tucker Barnhart, who has permitted more steals than all but two catchers this season.
Matt Shoemaker: Having produced a 2.09 ERA, a 0.95 WHIP and a 62-to-4 K/BB ratio across his past seven starts, the right-hander ranks among the hottest starters in baseball. Shoemaker could continue to thrive when he faces an Astros lineup that is tied for the Major League lead with 706 strikeouts.
Jeff Samardzija: With a 3.59 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP this season, the right-hander is back on track after a disappointing 2015 campaign. Samardzija could compile six-plus effective innings when he works at his offense-suppressing home park against an A's lineup that ranks 27th in the Majors with a .687 OPS against righties.
Jake Arrieta: With a 1.76 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP since the start of 2015, Arrieta is one of the most dominant starters in the Senior Circuit. The right-hander could post a game-changing DraftKings total when he faces a Reds lineup that ranks 26th in baseball with a .693 OPS against righties and were held without a hit when facing Arrieta on April 21.
