Addison Russell: The second-year shortstop will be poised to improve on his lifetime 100 wRC+ against right-handers (78 vs. lefties) when he tangles with Samardzija, who has posted a 5.13 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP across his past 12 starts.
Jason Heyward: Hitting .231 with six homers across 442 at-bats this season, the outfielder could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his solid lifetime .812 OPS against right-handers (.654 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Samardzija (4.54 ERA since the outset of 2015). In his career, Samardzija has allowed left-handed hitters such as Heyward to post a .764 OPS (.676 OPS allowed to righty batters).

Ryan Schimpf: With 16 homers across 190 at-bats, the rookie second baseman is quickly becoming one of the most powerful players at his premium position. Schimpf could go deep or drive in multiple runs when he brings his .384 ISO against right-handers (.296 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Foltynewicz, who in his career has allowed left-handed hitters such as Schimpf to post a .911 OPS (.766 OPS allowed to righty batters).
Freddie Freeman: Hitting .290 with 27 homers across 487 at-bats, the first baseman has quietly been one of the most effective hitters in the National League this season. Freeman could have a great game when he brings his lifetime .895 OPS against right-handers (.753 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Padres righty Jarred Cosart (career 4.18 FIP, 1.40 WHIP).
Nick Markakis: As a big leaguer, the outfielder has registered a .809 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .728 mark vs. lefties. Markakis could reach base often or drive in multiple runs when he faces Cosart (4.23 ERA, 1.66 WHIP in 2016) and a Padres bullpen that ranks 24th in the Majors with a 4.38 ERA.

Jace Peterson: The second baseman could provide cost-effective production at a premium position when he brings his lifetime .688 OPS against right-handers (.528 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Cosart and a Padres squad that ranks 22nd in the Majors with a .683 defensive efficiency ratio.
Curtis Granderson: Hitting leadoff, the outfielder may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he takes his lifetime .854 OPS against right-handers (.694 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Marlins righty José Ureña (5.83 ERA, 1.44 WHIP in 2016).
James Loney: With a lifetime .337 wOBA against right-handers in comparison to a .285 mark vs. lefties, the first baseman will be in prime position to thrive against Urena (career 5.52 ERA, 1.52 WHIP).
