Jean Segura: Hitting .317 with 17 homers, 91 runs and 30 steals across 635 plate appearances, the second baseman has been one of the most productive players at his premium position this season. Segura has the plate skills to thrive against Padres left-hander Clayton Richard (career 4.23 ERA, 1.41 WHIP) and the speed to swipe a base against catcher Derek Norris, who has allowed more steals than all but one catcher in 2016.

Mike Trout: With a lifetime .290/.402/.521 slash line against left-handers, the outfielder has proven to be one of baseball's best in those matchups. Trout will be in prime position to go deep or reach base often when he bats at homer-happy Globe Life Park in Arlington against southpaw Martin Pérez (career 4.21 ERA, 1.40 WHIP).
Albert Pujols: Hitting behind Trout, the slugger could drive in multiple runs when he brings his lofty lifetime .315/.402/.603 slash line against left-handers into a matchup with the left-handed Perez (4.20 ERA, 1.41 WHIP in 2016) at Texas' hitter-friendly venue. In his career, Perez has allowed right-handed hitters such as Pujols to post a .770 OPS (.631 OPS allowed to lefty batters).

Edwin Encarnacion: With 40 homers and 118 RBIs across 551 at-bats, the first baseman has been one of the most powerful players in baseball this season. From the heart of the lineup, Encarnacion could put a ball into the outfield seats or drive in multiple runs when he faces Mariners righty Taijuan Walker, who has posted a 6.56 ERA and a 2.3 HR/9 rate across his past seven starts.
Devon Travis: Hitting leadoff, the second baseman may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime .844 OPS against right-handers (.753 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the right-handed Walker (4.28 ERA, 1.8 HR/9 rate in 2016).
Nomar Mazara: The rookie outfielder could improve on his solid .280/.337/.464 slash line against right-handers when he faces righty Jhoulys Chacín (5.43 ERA, 1.50 WHIP in 2016) and an Angels bullpen that will work without injured anchors Huston Street and Cam Bedrosian.
Curtis Granderson: From his perch atop the lineup, the outfielder may maximize his chances to reach base or display his power when he brings his lifetime .235 ISO against right-handers (.176 vs. lefties) into a matchup against Braves rookie righty Aaron Blair (career 8.23 ERA, 1.77 WHIP).

Jay Bruce: The outfielder could add to his impressive in-season totals of 29 homers and 91 RBIs across 508 at-bats when he brings his lifetime .812 OPS against right-handers (.711 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the inexperienced righty Blair (6.47 FIP) and a Braves bullpen that ranks 21st in the Majors with a 4.08 ERA.
David Ortiz: In his legendary career, the slugger has produced an impressive .301/.406/.610 slash line against right-handers. Ortiz could continue his memorable final campaign (34 homers, 116 RBIs across 488 at-bats) when he bats at homer-happy Camden Yards against righty Dylan Bundy (career 4.58 FIP, 1.39 WHIP).

Jackie Bradley Jr.: The left-handed-hitting outfielder could post a notable DraftKings total when he brings his in-season .915 OPS against right-handers (.700 vs. lefties) into a matchup at Baltimore's hitter-friendly venue against the right-handed Bundy. Also working in Bradley's favor: Camden Yards has proven to be especially power-inducing for lefty-swinging sluggers.
Mookie Betts: The outfielder is in the final weeks of an incredible season, hitting .314 with 30 homers, 106 RBIs, 112 runs and 24 steals. Sporting balanced lifetime splits, Betts could have success from the cleanup spot in baseball's highest-scoring lineup vs. the right-handed Bundy.
Ryan Schimpf: With 19 homers across 242 at-bats, the second baseman is quickly becoming one of the most powerful players at his premium position. Schimpf could put another ball into the outfield seats when he faces rookie righty Braden Shipley (5.56 ERA, 1.55 WHIP) and a D-backs bullpen that ranks last in baseball with a 5.10 ERA.
Noah Syndergaard: Having posted a lifetime 2.81 ERA and a 10.3 K/9 rate, the right-hander has the skills to spin a gem when he faces a Braves lineup that ranks 28th in the Majors in ISO against righties (.137) and last in total home runs (108).

Clayton Kershaw: With a 1.90 ERA and a 0.86 WHIP since the outset of 2013, the left-hander is considered by many to be the most effective starter in baseball. Kershaw has the skills to limit the opposition when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against a Giants lineup that ranks 25th in the Majors with a .142 ISO vs. southpaws.
Madison Bumgarner: DraftKings participants who do not select Kershaw may instead opt for his mound opponent. With a 2.66 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP this season, the left-hander could have a stellar start when he faces a Dodgers lineup that ranks last in baseball with a .622 OPS against southpaws.
