Daniel Murphy: Hitting .409, the second baseman has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball this season. The first baseman could go deep when he bats at homer-happy Coors Field against righty Jon Gray (career 5.49 ERA, 1.49 WHIP) and a Rockies relief corps that ranks 28th in the Majors with a 4.81 ERA.
Michael Conforto: The second-year outfielder has registered notable career splits, with a .923 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .409 mark vs. lefties. Expected to bat out of a premium lineup spot, Conforto could post a notable total in DraftKings contests when he faces the right-handed Gray (5.40 ERA in 2016) and a suspect bullpen at Colorado's offense-inducing venue.
Curtis Granderson: Hitting leadoff, Granderson could maximize his chances to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime .857 OPS against right-handers (.696 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the righty Gray and an unreliable Rockies relief corps. Adam Eaton: Hitting leadoff, Eaton could have ample opportunity to excel when he brings his lifetime .780 OPS against right-handers (.722 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Luis Severino (6.12 ERA, 1.48 WHIP in 2016) at hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium. The outfielder could also swipe a base against catcher Brian McCann, who has thrown out just three of 17 would-be base stealers this year.
Jason Kipnis: The second baseman could reach base often and score multiple runs when he brings his lifetime .811 OPS against right-handers (.655 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Ricky Nolasco, who has a 5.48 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP since joining the Twins at the outset of 2014. Kipnis could also swipe a base against catcher Kurt Suzuki, who sometimes struggles to thwart would-be base stealers.
Chris Sale: With a 2.85 ERA, a 1.06 WHIP and a 10.2 K/9 rate in his career, the left-hander is arguably the most dominant starter in the American League. Sale could post a game-changing total in DraftKings contests when he faces a Yankees lineup that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a .685 OPS against southpaws.
Nathan Karns: Karns could fare well at his pitcher-friendly home park when he faces an Angels lineup that ranks 28th in the Majors with a .640 OPS against righties. After a slow start with Seattle, the righty has allowed four runs across his past 19 1/3 innings.
Jake Odorizzi: The right-hander -- who has a 3.10 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP this season -- could dominate when he works at his offense-suppressing home park against an A's lineup that ranks 23rd in baseball with a .687 OPS against righties. Also of note: Odorizzi will have the benefit of working in front of a Rays squad that ranks second in the Majors with a .718 defensive efficiency ratio.
Steven Wright: In his career, Wright has logged a 2.98 ERA when working as a starter. The Boston knuckleballer (1.52 ERA in 2016) could compile six-plus effective innings and a handful of strikeouts when he faces an Astros lineup that leads the Majors with 345 whiffs.
