Dan Duquette named 2014 Executive of the Year by Baseball America

Orioles Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations DAN DUQUETTE has been named Baseball America's 2014 Executive of the Year.

The Orioles were the 2014 American League East champions and advanced to the American League Championship Series for the first time since 1997. Baltimore's 96-66 record was tied for second-best in the majors in 2014 and the club's best single-season mark since 1997, when they went 98-64.

Duquette is the first Oriole to be recognized with the award, which has been given since 1998.
