Daniel Palka's home run barrage continued amid his promotion to Triple-A Rochester.
Palka, the Twins' No. 27 prospect, went deep in his first Triple-A before homering again in the seventh inning as part of a 3-for-5, two RBI debut.

The two-homer game continued a recent trend for Palka, who has 23 blasts in 80 games this year. The 24-year-old had a prolific June, mashing 13 homers in 26 games.
Palka has four multi-home run games this season, and although he's yet to surpass his career-high of 29 homers (set in 2015), he'll set a new mark before the year ends if he keeps hitting it out at such a rapid pace.
The rest of the best performances from top prospects Thursday:
• Yoan Moncada (Red Sox No. 1, No. 5 overall) extended his hitting streak to seven games in Double-A Portland's 11-0 win over New Hampshire. Moncada finished 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs and had his fingerprints all over Portland's eight-run fifth. The 21-year-old singled and scored to lead off the frame then concluded the scoring in the inning with a three-run homer to center.

• A couple of top Rangers' prospects had good days at the plate. Joey Gallo hit his 15th homer of the season and collected three RBIs while going 4-for-5 for Triple-A Round Rock. Meanwhile, Lewis Brinson (Rangers' No. 2, No. 13 overall) hit a pair of triples for Double-A Frisco and now leads the Texas League with six.

"Just trying to make something happen," Brinson told MiLB.com. "The team's been going through a little bit of a rough patch here lately. Just trying to get on base and steal a bag or two and let our lineup do what it's been doing and do what it's capable of doing."

• No. 24 overall prospect Gleyber Torres (Cubs' No. 1) hit his ninth homer of the season and increased his batting average to .268 -- a season-high -- for Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach. The young shortstop drove in four runs and finished 4-for-6.

• Amed Rosario (Mets' No. 2, No. 69 overall) continues to produce for Double-A Binghamton. It's been 16 games since the shortstop was promoted to the club and all he's done is hit .424 with eight extra-base hits and 12 RBIs. Rosario led his club to a win Thursday with a 3-for-4, two-RBI day against Hartford.
• Luke Weaver (Cardinals' No. 3) continues to be nearly untouchable for Double-A Springfield. The 22-year-old right-hander hasn't given up an earned run in 19 innings, including the six frames he put together in a loss to Corpus Christi. Weaver struck out seven, gave up two hits and now has a 0.83 ERA through seven starts with Springfield.
• D-backs' No. 10 prospect Taylor Clarke is off to a good start in July after throwing eight innings of one-run ball for Double-A Mobile. The right-hander had good control all night, throwing 83 of his 117 pitches for strikes. Clarke gave up just two hits, walked none and struck out 10, a season-high. In two July starts, Clarke has allowed two earned runs in 15 innings.
• Giants' No. 22 prospectTy Blach threw eight innings on one-run ball for Triple-A Sacramento, which has been the norm for the lefty recently. Blach has totaled 24 frames over his last three starts and allowed just three earned runs, while striking out 24..
• Mariners' No. 4 prospect Tyler O'Neill is off to a good start in Double-A Jackson's game against Tennessee. The suspended game will resume in the top of the fifth on Friday at 6:35 p.m. ET, but O'Neill has already homered and gone 2-for-2 with three RBIs. O'Neill has six RBIs over his past two games and four hits in his last seven at-bats.
• Nationals' No. 16 prospect Rafael Bautista was consistently making his way around the bases in Double-A Harrisburg's win over Erie. Bautista went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs..
• Chris Paddack's (Padres' No. 11) scoreless streak came to an end after 18 innings, but the right-hander still made a good impression on his new teammates at Class A Fort Wayne. Making his first start as a member of the Padres' organization, Paddack gave up six hits and one run in four innings. He also struck out six.
• Keury Mella spun his first scoreless start of the season for Class A Advanced Daytona. The Reds' No. 6 prospect spread four hits across six innings, walking four and striking out three. Mella threw 53 of his 87 pitches for strikes and didn't allow a single runner to reach third base.
• Reds' No. 16 prospectScott Schebler hit his third homer of the month as part of a 3-for-4 game with Triple-A Louisville. Schebler's 10th homer of the season, a two-run blast, highlighted a three-run third that gave Louisville a 5-1 lead.
• Red Sox No. 5 prospect Michael Kopech made the most of his Class A Advanced Salem debut. The right-hander, who missed three weeks with a calf injury and was activated from the DL prior to the game, gave up one hit over four innings. Kopech walked three and struck out six.

• Hunter Dozier (Royals' No. 14) is seemingly impossible to get out lately. The third baseman went 3-for-5 for Triple-A Omaha and is hitting a scorching .600 during his current nine-game hitting streak.
• Jordan Montgomery (Yankees' No. 18) bumped his scoreless streak up to 18 1/3 innings with seven scoreless frames for Double-A Trenton. Montgomery, who has a 2.47 ERA through 16 starts, walked two and struck out four in the 2-1 win over Bowie.

• No. 1 overall pick Mickey Moniak hit his first professional home run, a pinch-hit three run homer for the GCL Phillies. Moniak finished 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
• Pirates' 23rd-round selection Garrett Brown made the most of Rookie level Bristol's doubleheader by going 6-for-6 with a double.
