Red Sox to honor Papi at final spring home game

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Red Sox slugger David Ortiz will receive his first of many send-offs in his final Major League season in a ceremony before Monday's 1:05 p.m. ET game against the Orioles at JetBlue Park.
It will be the final home game of Spring Training for the Red Sox, and Ortiz's association with Fort Myers goes all the way back to 1997, his first year with the Twins.

For the ceremony, Ortiz's No. 34 will be painted on the grass along both baselines, and he'll be presented with gifts from the Red Sox that commemorate his Spring Training days in Lee County.
Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12:30 p.m.
The 2016 season will be Ortiz's 20th in the Majors and his 14th with the Red Sox.
