Starting with a closer look at that meeting of NL East foes, here are some things to watch throughout an action-packed day (all times ET):
Wright debuts against Nats top prospect: WAS@NYM, 6:10 p.m., MLB.TV
Wright, who has been eased into action while resting his troublesome back, will take his first official cuts of the spring tonight. The 33-year-old third baseman was limited to 38 games last season, though he returned down the stretch to help the Mets fend off these same Nats en route to clinching the NL pennant.
Wright ready for Grapefruit League action
Wright figures to be tested immediately, as he will be stepping into the box against Washington's top overall prospect, right-hander Lucas Giolito. It will be the first start of the spring for Giolito, who has allowed three runs and tallied eight strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings in three relief appearances.

Richards, Rox prospect square off: COL@LAA(ss), 4:10 p.m., MLB.TV
Angels ace Garrett Richards will look to get on track when he makes his third spring start Friday against the Rockies. In line to become the Halos' first Opening Day starter not named Jered Weaver since 2009, Richards has allowed five earned runs over 4 2/3 innings so far this spring.
On the other side, the Rockies will hand the ball to 21-year-old righty Antonio Senzatela. Senzatela, ranked as the club's No. 12 overall prospect, notched four strikeouts over two scoreless frames in his Cactus League debut Sunday.

Former Cy Young Award winner CC Sabathia will make his latest push for a spot in the Yankees' rotation when New York hosts the division rival Orioles under the lights at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The 35-year-old southpaw is coming off a rocky second start Sunday, in which he was tagged for three runs (two earned) off five hits over just 1 2/3 innings.
