Law faces final hurdle before return to bullpen

PHOENIX -- The Giants' well-stocked bullpen could increase to 15 men shortly after Monday, when will test his right elbow by throwing a simulated game at AT&T Park.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday that Law will be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday or Wednesday if he avoids any setbacks.
Law had performed superbly before he joined the DL on Aug. 28. He allowed one run in 24 appearances spanning 22 innings during July and August.
Overall, Law owns a 4-2 record with a 1.94 ERA. The rookie has struck out 47 and walked nine in 53 appearances. Opponents have batted just .212 against Law, who turns 26 on Wednesday.
