Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for excessive arguing and his inappropriate actions following his ejection at the conclusion of the fourth inning of Monday night's game against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park.

Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus has received a one-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for excessive arguing and his inappropriate actions following his ejection at the conclusion of the fourth inning of Monday night's game against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park. Joe Garagiola Jr., Senior Vice President of Standards & On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
Ausmus will serve his suspension tonight, when the Tigers are to continue their series with the Twins.
