Diamond of Dreams rescheduled for August 31

Annual on-field fundraiser moved to accommodate Royals-Cardinals makeup game; Proceeds to benefit Royals Charities

Due to Sunday's rainout between the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals, Diamond of Dreams has been rescheduled for Monday, August 31 at 7 p.m.

The Royals Charities fundraiser, presented by Bank of Kansas City, was originally scheduled for Thursday, July 23, but has been changed to accommodate the Royals-Cardinals make-up game scheduled for 6:15 p.m. that evening at Busch Stadium.

Diamond of Dreams will feature appearances from current and former Royals, the Teva Silent Auction, an opportunity to win a Rolex watch courtesy of TIVOL and a spectacular fireworks show. Guests will also enjoy a fabulous food and drink menu from Kansas City restaurants.

Prior to the on-field event, Royals Charities will host the Tiffany & Co. VIP Party beginning at 5:30 p.m. The sold-out party will feature an exclusive Tiffany & Co. experience, "Keys for a Cause."

The Club will announce more details on the rescheduled event at a later date. Key event sponsors for Diamond of Dreams include Bank of Kansas City, Teva and Aramark. Proceeds will benefit Royals Charities.

Tickets are available for the on-field event only for $125 and may be purchased online at www.royals.com/diamondofdreams or by calling (816) 504-4149.
