A look at some notable facts and figures from the Los Angeles Dodgers' 4-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the National League Division Series at Dodger Stadium on Monday.
• Carl Crawford homered in each of his first two at-bats Monday night, sending a leadoff shot to right field in the bottom of the first inning and following with another solo home run in the third. After hitting his six regular-season home runs over a span of 438 plate appearances, Crawford hit three in a span of six plate appearances beginning in the second inning of Game 3.
• Juan Uribe's go-ahead two-run home run off relief pitcher David Carpenter in the bottom of the eighth was his second homer in as many games. Uribe now has five career postseason home runs with three different teams. It had been a month since Carpenter had last allowed a home run.
• Pitching on three days' rest for the first time in his career, Clayton Kershaw gave up three hits and struck out six while allowing a pair of unearned runs in six innings of work, throwing 91 pitches after throwing 124 last Thursday in Game 1.
• Freddy Garcia turned in six solid innings in his 11th postseason start, scattering eight hits and striking out six. Since being moved into the Braves' rotation Sept. 12, Garcia posted a 2.10 ERA in four starts.
• Atlanta third baseman Chris Johnson got the Braves on the board with an RBI single in the third inning. Playing in his first postseason series, Johnson drove in a run in all four games and finished 7-for-16.
• The Dodgers squandered their early two-run lead thanks to two errors, the Los Angeles defense's first of the playoffs.
• Braves catcher Brian McCann's rough postseason ended with a four-strikeout night Monday. McCann went 0-for-13 in the NLDS and is headed for free agency.
• Second baseman Elliot Johnson kick-started the Braves' go-ahead rally in the seventh inning with a triple into the right-field corner, Johnson's first hit of the playoffs after starting 0-for-12. He was brought home by an RBI single off the bat of Jose Constanza, who had recorded only three RBIs in 21 Major League games during the regular season.
• Reliever Brian Wilson worked a scoreless eighth inning for the third time this series. Wilson has allowed one earned run in 16 2/3 innings since joining the Dodgers in late August.
