LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers announced today that fans can visit www.dodgers.com/Vin to help the club rank Hall of Famer Vin Scully's top 20 Dodger calls now through August 12. The Dodgers will reveal the top 20 Scully calls beginning on August 13, culminating with the unveiling of the top two on Vin Scully Appreciation Night September 23.
The following 20 calls are up for fan voting:
Vin Scully Appreciation Night will take place Friday, September 23 (7:10 p.m. vs. Rockies) and will include special pregame ceremonies, opportunities for fans to thank and pay tribute to Scully and Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's set to Scully's top calls of his career spanning more than six decades.
Fans can also look forward to Vin Scully Bobblehead night presented by Mercedes-Benz Dealers of Southern California Tuesday, September 20 (7:10 p.m. vs. Giants). The 2016 Los Angeles Dodgers Yearbook also features a special tribute to Scully, traveling from the start of his Dodger career in 1950 to the present. Scully is in his 67th and final season in the broadcast booth for the Dodgers. The Hall of Famer's 67 years of consecutive service with the Dodger organization is the longest of any sports broadcaster with one team.
