Dodgers acquire reliever Olson from Mariners

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Friday acquired left-handed reliever Tyler Olson from the Mariners for cash or a player to be named, the club announced. To make room on the roster, right-hander Daniel Reynolds, who was claimed off waivers last week, was designated for assignment.

Olson, 26, made his Major League debut for Seattle this past season, going 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 11 relief appearances, and he also appeared in 25 games (six starts) with Triple-A Tacoma, going 3-5 with a 4.47 ERA.
