LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers recalled reliever from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday and placed reliever Chris Hatcher on the 10-day disabled list with thoracic inflammation.
Stripling was optioned June 16 after allowing home runs in back-to-back outings for the Dodgers. He has pitched only once since then for OKC, striking out two in a perfect inning.
Hatcher allowed a game-tying run in the sixth inning in Thursday night's 6-3 win over the Mets. He has 43 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings and a 4.66 ERA in 26 games.
