Dodgers agree to terms with 2nd-round pick
L.A. reportedly brings aboard Hansen with $1 million signing bonus
ARLINGTON -- The Dodgers and second-round pick Mitch Hansen reportedly have agreed to a $1 million signing bonus pending passing a physical exam. The club has not confirmed the agreement.
The team, however, did announce these signings from last week's Draft: second baseman Willie Calhoun (fourth round), RHP Tommy Bergjans (eighth), RHP Kevin Brown (ninth), outfielder Logan Landon (10th), first baseman Matthew Beaty (12th), LHP Michael Boyle (13th), second baseman Chris Godinez (18th), catcher Jacob Henson (21st), second baseman Jordan Tarsovich (22nd), RHP Andrew Istler (23rd), RHP Cameron Palmer(24th), LHP Robert McDonnell (25th), RHP Marcus Crescentini (26th), RHP Ivan Vieitez (27th), outfielder Kyle Garlick (28th), RHP Corey Copping (31st), shortstop Nick Dean (32nd), RHP Adam Bray (33rd), catcher Gage Green (35th), RHP Drayton Riekenberg (36th), RHP Casey Mulholland (37th), outfielder Edwin Drexler (38th), RHP Chris Powell (39th) and RHP Isaac Anderson (40th). In addition, the club signed third baseman Nicholas Sell and P Wesley Hasleback as non-drafted free agents.
Hansen is a Texas high schooler who received $78,900 above slot. He was committed to attend Stanford.
