Wilson logs another scoreless rehab inning

Dodgers reliever takes mound for second time at Rancho Cucamonga

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers reliever Brian Wilson pitched another scoreless inning on Monday night in a Minor League rehab assignment with Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga.

Wilson allowed a double and had a strikeout. In his first rehab appearance Saturday night, Wilson retired all three batters he faced, striking out one.

Wilson was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday with what was officially termed right elbow ulna nerve irritation, but at this point the issue is more a case of lack of arm strength.

Wilson's already-condensed Spring Training was further compressed with he felt a twinge in his twice-repaired elbow March 10. He didn't pitch again until March 15, one day before the team left for Australia, where he pitched one scoreless inning in the Opening Series against the D-backs.

He was placed on the DL after allowing three runs and failing to retire a batter in the stateside opener in San Diego on March 30.

Wilson is eligible to return on April 15.
