Scully to miss final regular season games with cold
Broadcaster expected to call postseason games on the radio
LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully will miss the final weekend of the regular season against the Padres as he has a cold.
The legendary broadcaster will call postseason games on the radio as the Dodgers will face the Mets in the National League Division Series, which starts next Friday. The two clubs are still battling for home field advantage for the series and have identical 89-70 records, although the Mets hold the tiebreaker over the Dodgers after New York won four of seven meetings between the clubs this year.
Scully is in his 66th season of announcing Dodger baseball and announced earlier this season that he would return in 2016 in what would be his final season behind the microphone.
