LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers outrighted reliever Casey Fien to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, five days after claiming him off waivers from the Minnesota Twins.
Fien, who allowed five home runs in 13 2/3 innings before being waived by the Twins, was initially optioned to Oklahoma City, and in his only appearance, allowed one run on three hits with three strikeouts in one inning.
He remains on the Oklahoma City roster, but now he doesn't count against the 40-man Major League roster. His salary for 2016 is $2.275 million.
