Dodgers exhibition games against Angels begin tomorrow

The Dodgers will face off against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in two exhibition games at Dodger Stadium Thursday, March 31 at 7:10 p.m. Thursday's game marks the return of the Dodger Stadium Express which offers two express services to Dodger Stadium: the Dodger Stadium Express Union Station and the Dodger Stadium Express South Bay.

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers will face off against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in two exhibition games at Dodger Stadium tomorrow Thursday, March 31 at 7:10 p.m. (LHP Scott Kazmir vs. LHP Andrew Heaney) and Friday, April 1 at 7:10 p.m. (RHP Kenta Maeda vs. LHP Hector Santiago). Auto gates open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates will open at 5:10 p.m. Tomorrow's game marks the return of the Dodger Stadium Express which offers two express services to Dodger Stadium: the Dodger Stadium Express Union Station and the Dodger Stadium Express South Bay.
Twelve-year old singer/songwriter Ava Domini, a student at School Of Rock in Rancho Santa Margarita, will perform the national anthem tomorrow. The Military Hero of the Game is retired U.S. Marine Corps E-5 Sergeant Christopher Munoz of Highland Park. Dani Rose, country singer/songwriter and lead singer of the female trio Honey County, will perform the national anthem Friday. Three-time Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Victor Espinoza, a native of Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, will throw the ceremonial first pitch. The Military Hero of the Game Friday is U.S. Coast Guard E-4 Petty Officer Eric Davis of Eagle Rock.
Dodger Stadium Express Union Station and Dodger Stadium Express South Bay services are free of charge with a Dodger game-day ticket. Dodger Stadium Express Union Station service will be provided every 10 minutes starting 90 minutes prior to the start of the game and runs approximately every 30 minutes throughout the game. Fans traveling from Union Station without a ticket will pay a regular one-way fare of $1.75. The Dodger Stadium Express Union Station has two stops on site-in center field, behind the pavilions and at the Top Deck, Lot P.
The Dodger Stadium Express South Bay service will be provided every 20 minutes starting 2 hours before game time, with the last bus leaving Harbor Gateway Transit Center at game time. Those traveling from the South Bay without tickets will be charged $2.50. Fans will drop off in Lot G by the right-field pavilion. Return service begins after the end of the 7th inning, with the last bus departing 45 minutes after the final out or 20 minutes after a post-game event.
Fans can also board the Union Station bus at Broadway and Cesar Chavez, a short walk from the Chinatown Gold Line Metro stop. Fans that choose to drive to Dodger Stadium are encouraged to participate in the Pre-Paid Parking Program presented by Jiffy Lube® by purchasing their parking in advance to assist in traffic flow and expedite movement through the auto gates. Advance parking prices are $10 and parking at the gate is $20. In addition, the Dodgers have added prepaid lanes to further expedite parking for fans purchasing parking passes in advance. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) has 10 Opening Day ticket packages up for bid at www.dodgers.com/auction. Each auction includes four field-level game tickets to the April 12 Dodger home opener, a preferred parking pass and an autographed baseball from the designated field position indicated. All net proceeds benefit the programs and charitable donations of LADF.
