LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today announced a two-year extension in their affiliation agreement with the Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League, continuing their partnership through the 2018 season.
"We are extremely happy to continue our partnership with the Quakes for two more years", said Director, Player Development Gabe Kapler. "Grant, Brent, their staff, the city of Rancho Cucamonga and Quakes fans work together to create an atmosphere and environment that helps our players develop every day. We are confident that our affiliation will continue to produce outstanding Dodgers player for years to come."
Single-A Rancho Cucamonga has been in partnership with the Dodgers since 2011 and last year won the Cal League championship for the first time since 1994. The Quakes have made three trips to the Cal League playoffs since becoming a Dodger affiliate and this year have an overall record of 65-51, including a 42-28 first-half finish. 
"The Dodgers are a historic franchise in Major League baseball and the Quakes are proud to continue our partnership with them," said Quakes Managing Partner Bobby Brett. 
LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga has been a preferred rehab destination for a countless number of Dodgers over the last six seasons, including current players Clayton Kershaw, Andre Ethier, Kenley Jansen, Brett Anderson, Brandon McCarthy, A.J. Ellis and Justin Turner.
"The last six years have been great and we're excited to continue our partnership with the Dodgers," said Quakes Vice President/General Manager Grant Riddle. "From the Exhibition Game to last year's Cal League Championship Team, the partnership has left our fans with many great memories. Our fans love being able to enjoy watching the top talent in the Dodgers' minor league system on their way to Los Angeles. And with so many rehabbing players that the Dodgers have sent to LoanMart Field over the last six years, it's really been a treat for our fans."
