Friday's Dodgers-Giants game postponed
Today's contest pushed back to 3 PT; rainout rescheduled as part of split doubleheader on April 28
SAN FRANCISCO -- Friday night's Dodgers-Giants game at AT&T Park was postponed and today's game pushed back from 1:05 p.m. PT to 3:05 p.m. because of rain.
The rainout is the sixth at AT&T Park and the first since the Astros and Giants were washed out on April 12, 2006. All told, this is the Giants' 33rd rainout since moving to San Francisco in 1958.
Rich Hill starts for the Dodgers today, with Friday night's scheduled starter, Kenta Maeda, being skipped. Clayton Kershaw will start on regular rest on Sunday.
The Dodgers' rotation is jumbled because, with the rainout, the club will play only four games in an eight-day span due to scheduled off-days on Thursday, Monday and next Thursday.
Manager Dave Roberts has not announced when Maeda, Alex Wood or Hyun-Jin Ryu will make their next starts.
Friday night's game was rescheduled for April 28 at 1:05 p.m. as part of a split doubleheader.
