DODGERS INVITE LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY TO 21st ANNUAL COMMUNITY JOB FAIR

The Dodgers are inviting the Los Angeles community to meet more than 100 employers and pursue nearly 3,000 job opportunities available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 21st annual Community Job Fair at Dodger Stadium.

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers are inviting the Los Angeles community to meet more than 100 employers and pursue nearly 3,000 job opportunities available Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 21st annual Community Job Fair at Dodger Stadium. Those interested in attending should register by visiting https://lajobfair2016.eventbrite.com.
"The Dodgers, a major economic engine in Los Angeles County, provide approximately $365 million in economic output yearly," said Dodger Vice President External Affairs and Community Relations Naomi Rodriguez. "In these times when jobs are at a premium, we are excited to serve as a catalyst to bring together businesses and workers. We anticipate thousands of job seekers Saturday at Dodger Stadium." 
The Dodgers have partnered with Employment Development Department, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles Metro Employer Advisory Council, Congressman Xavier Becerra, Senator Kevin de Leon, Assemblymember Jimmy Gomez, Supervisor Hilda Solis, Councilmember Gil Cedillo, Los Angeles City Workforce Development Board, County of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board and LAUSD Board Member Monica Garcia in presenting the Community Job Fair at Dodger Stadium Saturday.

Parking at Dodger Stadium and admission to the job fair is free. Also, free shuttle service into the stadium will be provided from the corner of Elysian Park and Sunset Boulevard.
