Dodgers outright outfielder Baxter to Triple-A

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers outrighted outfielder Mike Baxter, who cleared waivers after being designated for assignment, to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Baxter was taken off the roster last week to make room for pitcher Colt Hynes, who was acquired from Cleveland. Baxter had been optioned to Albuquerque to make room for Matt Kemp's activation from the disabled list.

The outright of Baxter was listed on the Pacific Coast League transactions page and reported first by MLBtraderumors.com.
