Dodgers recall Erisbel Arruebarrena, option Carlos Triunfel

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena from Triple-A Albuquerque and optioned infielder Carlos Triunfel to Triple-A.

Arruebarrena went 4-for-13 (.308) with a double and an RBI in six games during his first call-up with the Dodgers before he was optioned to Albuquerque on June 5. After going 0-for-9 in his first two games with the Isotopes, the 24-year-old has hit safely in 17 of his last 18 games, batting .410 (25-for-61) with three doubles, two triples and eight RBI. Overall, he batted .357 (25-for-70) with a .410 on-base percentage in 20 games with Albuquerque.

Triunfel appeared in three games during his most recent call-up and has played in 10 games with the Dodgers this season.
