Dodgers Recall Matt West, Option Josh Ravin

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled right-handed pitcher Matt West (#76) from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned right-handed pitcher Josh Ravin to Triple-A.

West was acquired by the Dodgers from Toronto on May 4 and will make his second stint with the club this season. He did not make an appearance in his first stint with Los Angeles when he was recalled on May 30. The 26 year-old has combined to go 1-2 with one save and a 3.09 ERA in 18 games with the Blue Jays' Double-A New Hampshire, Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City this year. He has limited opposing hitters to a .208 batting average and has struck out 35 batters in 35.0 combined innings.

Ravin made seven relief appearances for Los Angeles this season, striking out nine batters and issuing just one walk in 7.0 innings.
