LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled right-handed pitcher Ross Stripling, who will start today's game against Boston, and placed right-hander Bud Norris on the 15-day disabled list with a mild mid-back strain (retroactive to Aug. 1).

Norris has combined to go 6-9 with a 4.26 ERA in 29 games (16 starts) with the Dodgers and Braves this year, including a 3-2 mark with a 4.34 ERA in seven games (six starts) since being acquired by Los Angeles on June 30.
