Dodgers-Reds delayed by rain in 7th inning
CINCINNATI -- Saturday night's game between the Reds and Dodgers at Great American Ball Park is being delayed by rain in the middle of the seventh inning with the Reds leading 8-0 and left-hander Brandon Finnegan having allowed just one hit.
Finnegan's no-hit bid was broken up by Adrián González with a clean single up the middle leading off the seventh inning.
The Reds scored four runs in the first inning -- three coming on Adam Duvall's 28th home run of the season. José Peraza added a two-run shot in the fourth.
Brett Anderson started for the Dodgers, but left after three-plus innings with an apparent injury. He was replaced by Grant Dayton, who gave up Peraza's homer.
Heavy rains before the game forced the teams to take batting practice in the cages underneath the stadium.
