PHOENIX -- The Dodgers made their first cut quickly on Friday, releasing non-roster pitcher Brooks Brown.
Claimed from the Rockies in October, then outrighted, Brown arrived in camp with lingering shoulder problems that plagued him last season, when he made 36 relief appearances for Colorado.
Brown was not able to throw off a mound during his short time in camp.
