Additions could impact how Pederson, Urias are used against Cubs

CHICAGO -- The Dodgers submitted their roster for the National League Championship Series that started with an 8-4 loss Saturday, adding left-handed pitcher and right-handed-hitting infielder .
To make room, the Dodgers removed infielder and catcher from their roster for the NL Division Series. Game 2 is set for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on FS1.

Wood, a starter forced into relief coming off in-season elbow surgery, gives the Dodgers 12 pitchers, one more than they carried against the Nationals in the NLDS.
Hernandez gives manager Dave Roberts the option to platoon in center field or pinch-hit for against Cubs' lefties, most notably Game 1 starter . Hernandez has hit well against Cubs lefties, and he has the only home run off Lester among the Dodgers. Hernandez is also 1-for-1 against reliever . He's 3-for-12 lifetime against Lester, while Pederson is 0-for-3.
Wood gives Roberts another left-handed reliever to go with and , and Wood's addition to the roster indicates that lefty is a candidate to start in the NLCS. Urias relieved in the decisive NLDS Game 5 in Washington.
