Dollar Hot Dog Night next Thursday

Reds thank fans for record-setting support

CINCINNATI (August 29, 2013) - In celebration of record-setting fan support, the Reds announce Dollar Hot Dog Night at the Thursday, Sept. 5 (7:10 p.m.) Reds vs. St. Louis Cardinals game at Great American Ball Park.

"We are thanking the fans for getting us to two million tickets sold faster than any year in the history of this ballpark with a dollar dog night," said Reds COO Phil Castellini. "If this support continues, we're on pace to break the ballpark attendance record set in 2003."

The $1 hot dogs will be available at all concession stands and from vendors around the ballpark.

Total attendance for 2013 through 64 games is 2,021,220.

The Great American Ball Park attendance record of 2,355,259 was set in the ballpark's inaugural season in 2003.
