DraftKings: Cutch, Marte could tee off vs. LHP

The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Tuesday.

Adam Jones (Orioles): The outfielder could reach base often and score multiple runs when he puts his lifetime .795 OPS against right-handers (.756 vs. lefties) to the test against Phillies righty Jerome Williams (career 4.50 ERA, 1.38 WHIP) at hitter-friendly Camden Yards.

Chris Davis (Orioles): Davis could drive in several runs, as he looks to improve his lifetime .844 OPS against right-handers (.737 vs. lefties) at the expense of Willams (5.71 ERA, 1.63 WHIP in 2015).

Andrew McCutchen (Pirates): With a lifetime .325/.412/.564 slash line against left-handers, the outfielder has proven to be among the best in baseball in those matchups. McCutchen -- who has hit .327 since May 1 -- could be worth a premium price tag in DraftKings contests when he faces White Sox southpaw Jose Quintana (career 1.27 WHIP).

Starling Marte (Pirates): Having tallied 12 homers and 11 steals across 253 plate appearances, Marte has been a difference-maker in DraftKings contests this season. With a career .979 OPS against left-handers (.747 vs. righties), the outfielder could join McCutchen as a pair of star outfielders with the talent to excel against Quintana (4.00 ERA, 1.36 WHIP in 2015).

Anthony Gose (Tigers): The outfielder could score multiple runs when he brings his career .689 OPS against right-handers (.494 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Reds rookie righty Michael Lorenzen (6.12 FIP, 1.43 WHIP). Gose could also swipe a bag, as catcher Brayan Pena has stopped just five of 28 basestealers this season.

Miguel Cabrera (Tigers): The first baseman could improve on his lofty lifetime .321/.388/.565 slash line against right-handers when he faces the inexperienced Lorenzen. The rookie righty made just three starts at the Triple-A level before making the jump to the Majors, and he may not be ready for a talented Tigers lineup.

Kris Bryant (Cubs): During his brief career, the rookie has posted a .916 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .732 mark vs. lefties. The third baseman -- who hit 43 homers in the Minors a year ago -- could swat his eighth round-tripper of the season against Trevor Bauer.

Mike Trout (Angels): DraftKings participants may wish to make a large expenditure on Trout, who has a lifetime .312/.395/.567 slash line against right-handers. The outfielder could post difference-making totals on Tuesday, when he faces D-backs righty Jeremy Hellickson (5.29 ERA, 1.46 WHIP in 2015).

Kole Calhoun (Angels): The outfielder -- who has balanced career splits -- could be involved in plenty of run scoring from the cleanup spot against Hellickson (5.06 ERA since 2013). Calhoun could also rip a round-tripper, having hit 27 of his 31 career homers against right-handers. On his end, Hellickson has produced a career 1.2 HR/9 rate.

Erick Aybar (Angels): From his perch atop the Halos lineup, the shortstop could be an essential part of a DraftKings stack against Hellickson. With balanced career splits, Aybar could reach base often or score multiple runs against the right-hander and an Arizona bullpen that lacks elite arms.

Adam Lind (Brewers): The first baseman has produced pronounced lifetime splits, with an .862 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .588 mark vs. lefties. On Tuesday, Lind could certainly hit a ball over the outfield wall at his power-happy home park against Royals fly-ball-inducing righty Chris Young.

Garrett Richards (Angels): DraftKings participants may be concerned about the right-hander, who has allowed 19 earned runs across his past 26 1/3 innings spanning five starts. But Richards -- who in his career has held right-handed hitters to a .623 OPS (.681 OPS allowed to lefty batters) -- could get on track against a righty-heavy D-backs lineup. And with some help from the previously mentioned Angels hitters, he could be in line for a win.

Charlie Morton (Pirates): Since the outset of 2013, Morton has compiled a 3.39 ERA that factors in a 2.05 mark across four starts this year. The right-hander could fare well at his pitcher-friendly home park against a White Sox lineup that ranks 28th in the Majors with 221 runs. Set to play in an NL park, Chicago's AL club will likely need to sit Jose Abreu or Adam LaRoche due to the absence of the designated-hitter spot.

Scott Copeland (Blue Jays): DraftKings participants could find an economical starter in the right-handed Copeland, who has used his extreme ground-ball tendencies to post a 1.97 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP in Triple-A this season. Coming off seven innings of one-run ball against the Marlins on June 10, the hurler could find success when he works at pitcher-friendly Citi Field against a Mets lineup that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a .675 OPS vs. righties.

Trevor Bauer (Indians): The right-hander may improve on his in-season 3.53 ERA and 1.24 WHIP when he makes a start in a Senior Circuit venue against the Cubs. Bauer could compile several strikeouts, as he has posted a lifetime 8.5 K/9 rate, and Chicago leads the National League with 384 whiffs.
