SEATTLE -- Dylan Moore, a utility infielder who spent most of last season with the Brewers' Triple-A club in Colorado Springs, signed a Major League free-agent deal with the Mariners on Friday.
The 26-year-old posted a .280/.346/.492 line with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs in 97 games at Colorado Springs, as well as .373/.429/.639 with three homers and 18 RBIs in 24 games for Double-A Biloxi.
The Mariners' 40-man roster is now at 32 players. Two veteran utility players -- Andrew Romine and James Beckham -- became free agents last month, leaving Kristopher Negron as the only returning utility man.
Moore was a seventh-round Draft pick of the Rangers in 2015 out of Central Florida and was traded to the Braves in 2016. He signed a Minor League deal with the Brewers last April after being released by Atlanta.
In four Minor League seasons, Moore has hit .260 with 42 home runs, 200 RBIs and 90 stolen bases, but he is yet to play in the Majors. He's played all four infield spots as well as seeing limited duty in left and center field during his pro career.
