BALTIMORE -- One key error in the seventh inning led to Dylan Bundy's potential second straight win unraveling as he watched from the dugout, and the four unearned runs set the Orioles on their way to their 108th loss of the season, marking a new team record.
Bundy looked as if he was cruising, but he allowed infield singles to Rowdy Tellez and Aledmys Diaz to start the seventh, and moments later, the Blue Jays scored four runs with two outs in the inning for a 6-4 win over the Orioles.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that he hopes the team will profit from the difficult season it's been through.
"We'll look back on it and hopefully learn from a lot of things and build," Showalter said.

Bundy allowed five runs, but just two were earned in his 6 2/3 innings. He took a 4-2 lead into the seventh, then left the game with the bases loaded and two outs. Third baseman Steve Wilkerson fielded Teoscar Hernandez's grounder and threw wildly to first baseman Trey Mancini for an error that scored two. Two more came home on Lourdes Gurriel Jr.'s single off Paul Fry.

Bundy knows the Orioles have set an undesirable record, but he doesn't want to dwell on it.
"I haven't really given it too much thought yet," Bundy said. "That's one of those things I'd like to do after the season ... Go back and look at the positives and also the negatives as well.

The Orioles had a 4-0 lead after four innings thanks to Cedric Mullins' home run to lead off the first, his fourth of the season, and a three-run fourth inning highlighted by DJ Stewart's first career hit, which ended in two runs thanks to a pair of throwing errors by Billy McKinney and starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez.
"We had a lot of good things happen that inning, just couldn't make it stand up," Showalter said.

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
In his first game since returning from a hamstring injury, Wilkerson fielded Hernandez's grounder with two men on and a chance to put the inning away, but his throw eluded Mancini and led to the four-run inning.

Earlier this season, Wilkerson started two games at shortstop, but sustained an oblique injury that sent to the disabled list on July 3. While rehabbing the oblique injury in late August at Triple-A Norfolk, Wilkerson injured his hamstring.
"Wilkie's better than that," Showalter said. "Tough day for him."

Bundy became the first Orioles starter to record an out in the seventh since Andrew Cashner on Aug. 25. Bundy, who leads the Major Leagues with 38 home runs allowed, didn't give up a homer for the first time in his past 12 starts.

Jimmy Yacabonis will make his fifth start of the season as the Orioles finish out their three-game series against the Blue Jays on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. ET at Camden Yards. Yacabonis' last three starts were as the 26th man for doubleheaders, and he hasn't lasted more than five innings in a start. He'll be opposed by Marco Estrada.
