Fan hospitalized after fall at Olympic Stadium

A man is in critical condition in a Montreal hospital after falling from the stands Friday night during the Blue Jays and Mets exhibition at Olympic Stadium, according to the Montreal Gazette.

Police told the newspaper they "do fear for his life at this time."

The man, who was unidentified and in his 40s, was walking to his seat and fell 10 to 15 meters to the ground, according to a release. The Gazette reported police received a call around 10:45 p.m., which is about the time the game ended.

Police were on the scene after the game. It is unknown whether the incident occurred during or after the game.
