D-BACKS SCIENCE OF BASEBALL STEM SHOWCASE: The D-backs will host more than 4,000 Arizona students and their families as part of the Science of Baseball and STEM Showcase, presented by Chase and Insight. The students and teachers will participate in a pregame STEM parade around the field and will receive a free D-backs Science of Baseball T-shirt, courtesy of Chase. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Chase will present 10 STEM clubs and teachers with a $2,500 grant to support their projects, totaling $25,000. Prior to the game, fans are encouraged to visit the interactive exhibits and meet with experts in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math along the main and upper concourses. Several of the exhibits will be operated by STEM club students and teachers. Dante Lauretta, current professor of planetary science and Cosmochemistry at the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Professor Lauretta, an expert in near-Earth asteroid formation and evolution, is the leader of NASA's recently launched OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return mission. LUIS GONZALEZ AWARD: The D-backs and Luis Gonzalez will present a D-backs player with the second annual Luis Gonzalez Award prior to the game. The award is given to the D-backs player who best exemplifies the talents, spirit and heart of the D-backs legend both on and off the field, as voted by his teammates and coaches.
 
SCOUT NIGHT: The D-backs will host Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorers to participate in STEM Showcase and meet with experts in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Explorers in uniform will be recognized on the field prior to the game, and with the purchase of a Scout night ticket package, each participant will receive a Scout Night 2016 patch. BEER PASSPORT: The D-backs will host the 2nd annual Beer Passport, presented by Coors Light, which includes a game ticket and three 14 oz. beers of any kind with stops at the Audi Club, Draft Room and Coors Light Strike Zone. Tickets are $39 and once your beer passport is fully stamped, fans are encouraged to head to the Coors Light Strike Zone for opportunities to win great prizes such as D-backs gear, tickets to a 2017 D-backs game and much more. DIGNITY HEALTH & ONE MEDICAL FLU SHOT CLINIC: Medical professionals from Dignity Health & One Medical will be on site to administer free flu shots to the first 200 fans in the Legends Suite area on the upper concourse.
 
TEAMING UP FOR EDUCATION: D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt and his wife Amy will present five students with full tuition scholarships as part of the Teaming Up for Education Scholarship during a pregame ceremony. In addition, the D-backs and University of Phoenix will host more than 1,500 alumni, community partners and executives for the game.
 
CHASE BIG FLY CHECK PRESENTATION: Chase will present the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation with a check for $46,250 as part of the Chase Big Fly home run promotion held throughout the season. Chase donates $250 for each D-backs home run this season and will benefit the foundation's Play Ball Fund.
 
MOST VALUABLE TEACHERS - TEACHER OF THE YEAR: The D-backs will recognize the Most Valuable Teacher of the Year from the team's season-long Most Valuable Teachers program. The winning teacher will receive a check for $5,000 to spend on supplies for the classroom, a new laptop courtesy of Insight, and will be recognized during a special pregame ceremony.
 
FRY'S DIAMOND DAYS PROGRAM: Fry's Food Stores and the USO will treat more than 200 military members and their families from the Mesa Army Reserve Unit to enjoy the game. 
 
DIGNITY HEALTH HELLO HUMANKINDNESS RECOGNITION: Dignity Health will recognize lung cancer patient Irene Georgas. October 1 will mark six years that Irene, a non-smoker, has been cancer free. Every year on her "birthday," Irene celebrates with her doctors and nurses. 
 
PACK THE HOUSE: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and UnitedHealthcare will present a check for $20,000 to Kitchen on the Street prior to the game as part of the Pack the House program, in which volunteers packed more than 49,000 meals, one for each seat at Chase Field, and delivered to underserved children in Phoenix throughout the season.
 
D-BACKS EXPRESS: The D-backs offer a hassle-free way to see a D-backs game for fans in Tucson. A luxury bus will pick up fans at the Foothills Mall in Tucson and drop them off in front of Chase Field. Round-trip fares are $25 per person, and buses depart three hours before game time. FAN APPRECIATION DAY: The D-backs have partnered with Banana Boat, Big O Tires, Cox Communications, Fry's Food Stores, Manzanita Sol, Panda Express, Taco Bell, and Total Oil to offer fans special promotions throughout the game as a thank you to fans for their support throughout the entire season. Fans will also have the opportunity to win a spot in the D-backs' Fantasy Camp, two iPad Pros and a 55" TV provided by Cox Communications. All fans are encouraged to jointly sing the national anthem and can enjoy special discounts on merchandise and concessions throughout Chase Field all weekend long.
 
GILA RIVER CASINOS GAME NIGHT CAR GIVEAWAY: The D-backs and Gila River Casinos will give away a 2016 Ford Edge, courtesy of Sanderson Ford, to one lucky D-backs fan. Finalists won the opportunity while playing the Gila River Casinos Game Night at D-backs home games throughout the season. 
 
FAN OF THE YEAR: The D-backs and MLB will recognize Julius Ingram as the Arizona Diamondbacks Fan of the Year during a special pregame ceremony. Ingram was voted on by fellow fans in the inaugural Esurance MLB Fan of the Year program and will receive a bat and tickets to a D-backs game in 2017.
 
ALL FANS RUN THE BASES FOR PCH: All fans are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up on the ramps near section 110 immediately following the game. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will donate $1 to Phoenix Children's Hospital for everyone that crosses home plate.
 
IN MEMORIAM: The D-backs will honor those within the baseball community who have lost their lives this year during a special pregame video montage. 
 
BASEBALL WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA AWARDS: Prior to the game, members of the local Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) chapter will present D-backs players with team awards, such as Most Valuable Player, Most Valuable Pitcher, Rookie of the Year and Good Guy Award. 
 
DOG DAYS OF SUMMER: Fans can enjoy the game with their canine friend from the PetSmart Patio. Fans can use the new PetSmart Dog Park and treat their dog to doggy concession favorites such as doggy ice cream. CHASE YOUR DREAMS - Oct. 7: The D-backs and Chase will deliver brand new baseball and softball equipment to Independence High School during a school sports assembly at 8:15 a.m.
 
BOYS & GIRLS CLUB DAY - Oct. 7: The MLB All-Star Arizona Diamondbacks Boys & Girls Club will host a carnival from 5-7 p.m. for club members featuring entertainment by Baxter, Bobby Freeman and the D-backs Street Team.
 
D-BACKS SCHOOL CHALLENGE presented by UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX: The D-backs and University of Phoenix are giving away $100,000 to benefit schools across Arizona. Twenty schools will be selected and will receive $5,000 to help improve their school. The deadline to apply is Sept. 30. Schools can apply for the grant online at dbacks.com/schoolchallenge.
 
D-BACKS AUTHENTICS: The D-backs sell game-used and authenticated merchandise ranging from game-used bases, jerseys, bats, balls and lineup cards to autographed merchandise. D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.
