As the first full week of Spring Training games gets underway, there are several matchups on tap today, as stars shake off the rust and prospects look to make a strong impression. Here's what to watch for today in Florida and Arizona (all times ET):
Padres at Angels, 3:10 p.m., Tempe, Ariz.
The Angels' regulars who have not yet appeared in spring games -- including reigning American League MVP Michael Trout -- are in the lineup today against the Padres at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The superstar center fielder is batting third. Jose Pujols, who is rehabbing from foot surgery, remains sidelined.
Right-hander JC Ramirez, who posted a 2.91 ERA in 43 relief appearances for the Angels in 2016, takes the mound against righty Tyrell Jenkins for San Diego. Jenkins made his Major League debut last season while with the Braves, posting a 5.88 ERA in 14 appearances (eight starts).
Pirates at Blue Jays, 1:07 p.m., Dunedin, Fla.
Blue Jays right-hander Marcus Stroman makes his first spring start, looking to build on a strong second half in 2016. Following a 4.89 ERA in the first half, Stroman turned in a 3.68 mark along with 8.5 strikeouts per nine innings after the All-Star break.
At the plate, Toronto's new designated hitter, Kendrys Morales, hopes to stay hot after debuting with a 2-for-2 performance that included a homer Sunday against the Phillies.
The Pirates will send right-hander Chad Kuhl to the hill. Kuhl, who made 14 starts for Pittsburgh last season and posted a 4.20 ERA, is competing for one of two open rotation spots behind Gerrit Cole, Jameson Taillon and Ivan Nova.
Astros at Mets, 1:10 p.m., Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is enjoying a torrid start to Spring Training as he makes his case to head to New York when the regular season gets underway. Conforto hit his second homer of the spring Sunday, and is 5-for-7 (.714) so far.

New York will give the ball to 23-year-old southpaw P.J. Conlon, who had a 1.65 ERA in 24 games (23 starts) between Class A Columbia and Class A Advanced St. Lucie in 2016.
The Astros look forward to the spring debut of their new right fielder, Josh Reddick, who signed with Houston as a free agent in the offseason. The 30-year-old hit .281/.345/.405 with 10 home runs in 115 games between the A's and Dodgers last season.
Right-hander Joe Musgrove, the favorite to earn the fifth spot in Houston's starting rotation, is scheduled to take the mound for the Astros. Musgrove appeared in 11 games (10 starts) for Houston in 2016, with a 4.06 ERA in his first taste of the big leagues.
Yankees at Orioles, 1:05 p.m., Sarasota, Fla.
The Yankees take their home run parade on the road to Sarasota, having hit five over their first three games of the spring. New York sends right-hander Chad Green to the mound against Baltimore. In 12 appearances last season (eight starts), Green posted a 4.73 ERA. At Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, he had a 1.52 ERA in 16 starts.
The O's would like to see more of what they saw Sunday, when both Manny Machado and Adam Jones went deep for the first time this spring.

Right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez is slated to start for Baltimore. Jimenez is looking to build on a strong second half of 2016 after being demoted to the bullpen following a poor start to the season. In 12 appearances (eight starts) after the All-Star break, Jimenez posted a 2.82 ERA.
Rays at Phillies, 1:05 p.m., Clearwater, Fla.
On the heels of a solid rookie season, left-hander Blake Snell will make his first start of the spring Monday against the Phillies. Snell posted a 3.54 ERA in 19 starts for Tampa Bay last season, striking out 98 in 89 innings.
Snell will be opposed by Phillies right-hander Jerad Eickhoff, who has a 3.44 ERA over his first two seasons (41 starts) with Philadelphia. Eickhoff is expected to slot in behind Jeremy Hellickson as the No. 2 starter in the Phillies' rotation.
Rickie Weeks Jr., whom the Rays signed to a Minor League deal, looks to stay hot, coming off a 2-for-2 game on Sunday that included a homer. He's batting .667 to start the spring.

Padres at Angels, 3:10 p.m., Tempe, Ariz.
A pair of hurlers trying to earn starting rotation spots take the mound opposite one another as the Padres visit the Angels.
