FOX Sports Southwest to televise tribute to longtime Rangers radio announcer Eric Nadel
Saturday's Pregame Ceremony Will Be Shown Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
FOX Sports Southwest will televise a 30-minute special honoring longtime Texas Rangers radio broadcaster and 2014 Ford C. Frick Award winner Eric Nadel on Sunday, July 13 at 1:00 p.m. CT.
The program titled A TRIBUTE TO ERIC NADEL will include Saturday's pregame ceremony honoring the esteemed broadcaster. FOX Sports Southwest's John Rhadigan will be the master of ceremonies for the on-field ceremony before Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels televised nationally on FOX Sports.
FOX Sports Southwest will show the ceremony on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. CT prior to the RANGERS LIVE pregame show at 1:30 p.m. CT leading into the series finale vs. the Angels at 2:00 p.m. CT.
A member of the Rangers broadcast team since 1979, Nadel is the 38th recipient of baseball's highest broadcasting honor. He will be presented the Ford C. Frick Award during the National Baseball Hall of Fame's induction weekend in Cooperstown, New York on July 26.
