March 23rd, 2016

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Francisco Lindor hit his first home run of the spring in the Indians' 7-6 win over the Royals on Wednesday, when he lifted a 2-1 pitch from Kansas City's Kris Medlen over the right-field wall at Goodyear Ballpark.
The 22-year-old shortstop is coming off an impressive rookie campaign in which he hit .313 with 12 homers and 51 RBIs in 99 games.
Lindor's homer gave the Indians an early 1-0 lead that was quickly expanded as Jason Kipnis went back-to-back with a homer of his own to straightaway center. The homer was Kipnis' third.
