Best of Fantasy 411 Twitter chat

MLB.com fantasy guru Fred Zinkie fielded questions from fans during a live Twitter chat via @Fantasy411 on Tuesday. Check out the chat transcript below and check out the @Fantasy411 Twitter handle and MLB.com's fantasy home. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity.

@mkorff9: For the remainder of the season, should I use Matt Carpenter or Kyle Seager?
Fred Zinkie: Go with Seager, who is playing well of late and has more power.

@Chrispy_17: Should I start Drew Smyly against the Tigers?
Zinkie: No. The Tigers are among the best in baseball vs. lefties. Team splits are an important factor in pitcher decisions.

@Thomas_parrish3: Should I drop Troy Tulowitzki?
Zinkie: Yes, Tulowitzki should be dropped in all one-year leagues.

@BradRathburn1: Should I drop Albert Pujols for Mark Trumbo for the remainder of playoffs?
Zinkie: Yes. Pujols is not hitting well and is dealing with a nagging injury. There is no time to wait for him.

@Dibball16: In a forever keeper league, which five players would you keep: Miguel Cabrera, Kris Bryant, Carlos Correa, Bryce Harper, Miguel Sano, Byron Buxton or Kyle Schwarber?
Zinkie: Bryant, Correa, Harper, Schwarber and Cabrera.

@mosjeffinitely: Which player should I drop in favor of Corey Dickerson: David Wright, Gregory Polanco or Stephen Piscotty?
Zinkie: Drop Polanco, unless you need runs and steals; in which case, drop Piscotty.

@MarkStormbro: George Springer has been back just eight games, but he is barely producing. Should I use him in my head-to-head playoffs?
Zinkie: It's hard to say without knowing your options, but my best guess is that I would vote to stick with the talented outfielder.

@Thomas_parrish3: Should I pick up Brandon Crawford?
Zinkie: He is dealing with an injury and hasn't hit especially well in the second half. Leave him on waivers.

@joedcamp: If the price were the same to keep either player, would you keep Marcus Stroman or Noah Syndergaard?
Zinkie: I would keep Syndergaard, but it's very close. If they switched leagues, I would switch my vote.

‏@banoycocina: I have Matt Holliday and probably Giancarlo Stanton coming back this week. Should I keep Rusney Castillo? He would be on my bench.
Zinkie: You can drop Castillo if he is on your bench. But don't expect to get too much from Holliday or Stanton.

@Yank2784: Is Greg Bird worth a keeper spot? I would have to trade Todd Frazier away.
Zinkie: Stick with Frazier. The Yankees may not have room for Bird next season.

@D_aaronmiller: Which four players should I keep for 2016: Chris Davis, Tulowitzki, Mike Trout, Frazier, Chris Sale, Matt Harvey and Corey Kluber.
Zinkie: Trout, Frazier, Sale and Harvey.

@nmach10: Should I drop Cole Hamels or Danny Salazar for Jaime Garcia?
Zinkie: Hard to drop either, but I would drop Salazar.

@sritsema11: Should I keep Josh Reddick or drop him to pick up Jayson Werth or Trumbo?
Zinkie: Pick up Werth.

@Tuftsa: Please choose two in a keeper league: Johnny Cueto, Mookie Betts and Davis.
Zinkie: Betts and Davis.

@Joe_gitto: Should I start Kole Calhoun or Carlos Beltran next week? And can I drop Jonathan Lucroy?
Zinkie: Calhoun. And yes, Lucroy can be dropped.

@Abreezy23zz: Should I drop Pujols or Alex Gordon to pick up a starter?
Zinkie: If you need to add a starter, drop Pujols instead of Gordon.

@PaulieV1980: Which player would you use for the rest of the year: Trumbo, Bradley, Mark Canha or Gordon?
Zinkie: Gordon. Bradley would be my second choice.

@FCO11: Should I drop Mat Latos and pick up Roenis Elias?
Zinkie: Yes, you should make that move.
