Galvis flexes some muscle in intrasquad game

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The Phillies played an intrasquad game Tuesday at Bright House Field.

Ryan Howard and Cesar Hernandez homered. Freddy Galvis hit a ball off the top of the wall for a long double.

"He's got that pop in his bat, but he can't think about that pop first," Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said about Galvis. "He has to have that line-drive, gap-to-gap stroke and a consistent bat on the ball."
