Halos-Sox rained out; Saturday twin bill set

Friday's series opener between the Red Sox and Angels at Fenway Park has been postponed due to continued rain and inclement weather expected throughout the day in Boston.

The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader. The rescheduled contest will start at 1:05 p.m. ET followed by the regularly scheduled game at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for Friday's postponed game will be honored for the first game of that doubleheader.

This is the Angels' lone trip to Boston this season with the three-game series set to wrap up on Sunday at 1:35 p.m.

The Angels will keep the same rotation order despite the rainout. Tommy Hanson will start Game 1 and C.J. Wilson gets the nod in Game 2 on Saturday. Joe Blanton will start Sunday.
