Frozen Fenway 2017 announces Capital One as the event's title sponsor

Fenway Sports Management (FSM) today announced additions to the schedule of men's and women's hockey games taking place at Fenway Park in January as part of Capital One Frozen Fenway 2017.

Fenway Sports Management (FSM) today announced additions to the schedule of men's and women's hockey games taking place at Fenway Park in January as part of Capital One Frozen Fenway 2017. Five high school and collegiate hockey games have been added to the schedule, joining a pair of Hockey East doubleheaders. Capital One Frozen Fenway 2017 is a two-week series of hockey and ice skating events from January 4-16, 2017, that showcase Fenway Sports Group's commitment to bringing unique, world class events to historic Fenway Park and the residents of Boston. Capital One Frozen Fenway 2017 will be played over a stretch of 13 days at Fenway Park and feature some of the top collegiate and high school hockey teams from the greater Northeast region.
Additions to Capital One Frozen Fenway 2017 are highlighted by a Women's and Girls Hockey Day, featuring a Girls Youth Clinic conducted by Massachusetts Hockey and the Boston Pride and a game between the Harvard University and Boston College Women's Hockey teams. Net ticket proceeds for the Women's and Girls Hockey Day will benefit The Denna Laing Fund, which supports the recovery of the Boston Pride player who sustained a significant spinal cord injury in 2015.
