Artist to create original work at MLB Fan Cave

Come on down to the MLB FanCave this Monday afternoon to catch a uniqueperformance piece by the innovative artist David Garibaldi.

Garibaldi will create one of his signature 6-foot portraits in the entrance area of theMLB Fan Cave on Monday, May 23 between 1 and 3 PM. Fans are encouraged towatch this art in progress at 692 Broadway.

Born in Los Angeles in 1982, Garibaldi began creating at a young age. Afterrelocating and growing up in Sacramento, it was not until high school, after walkingaway from a life of graffiti in the streets, that he turned his influences of hip hopculture into a positive direction. Unfortunately by then, it was too late to make uplost time in school, and he could not graduate. A season of hard times to come couldnot shake the drive of this young artist from pursuing his dreams.

Rhythm and Hue is a performance art show where artist David Garibaldi creates 6foot portraits of pop icons in minutes to music. Garibaldi’s unique show is extremelyversatile and has been featured with celebrities like Carlos Santana; utilized byFortune 500 companies like AT&T, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars forvarious charities, and used as a platform to motivate students and employees ofvarious organizations.

Garibaldi’s Rhythm and Hue is much more than a performance art, and paint flailingpresentation; it is an inspirational experience as well. Garibaldi tells the story ofhow he was living the life of a graffiti rebel until a high school teacher challengedhim to make his art more purposeful.
