Get ready to run at the 4th Annual Phillies Charities 5K

Lace up those running shoes! The 4th annual Phillies Charities 5K returns on Saturday, March 22, 2014 and offers even more Phillies fun for participants.
 
Registration opens on Monday, January 13 at 9:00 a.m. on phillies.com/5k, and fans are encouraged to register early as last year's race sold out in a few hours. The event will again be capped at 5,000 participants.

The USATF certified 5K (3.1 mile) run starts and ends at Citizens Bank Park with a loop through the surrounding neighborhood. After crossing the finish line, participants will be able to enjoy a cool down lap around the warning track on the field followed by a post-race party at McFadden's Ballpark.

"We are very excited to host the 2014 Phillies Charities 5K," said Mary Ann Moyer, Phillies Race Manager. "This year's run will once again feature lots of Phillies surprises along the race route, including appearances by the Phillie Phanatic, live music and more. As always, the Phillies Charities 5K is a great way for fans to show their Phillies spirit, all for a good cause."

Phillies Charities 5K participants also receive:

• A Phillies Charities 5K soft tech tee
• A finisher medal that doubles as a magnet
• Voucher good for two tickets to a Phillies On-Deck Series game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday, March 28 at 7:05 p.m. or Saturday, March 29 at 1:05 p.m.
• Voucher good for two tickets to the Phillies vs. Milwaukee Brewers game on Wednesday, April 9 at 7:05 p.m. or Thursday, April 10 at 7:05 p.m.
