SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Brandon Belt's two-run homer keyed a four-run seventh inning as the Giants beat the Rockies,10-4, in a Cactus League game at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on Sunday afternoon.
Belt's homer, his first this spring, was a 448-foot shot off Rockies reliever Jason Motte. The homer was part of Belt's 4-for-4, 4-RBI performance, and teammate Matt Duffy added three hits.
The Rockies' Charlie Blackmon and Nick Hundley each hit solo homers, and Nolan Arenado went 2-for-3 to lift his Spring Training-leading average to .606. He's had seven straight multi-hit games.

Rockies left-handed starter Jorge De La Rosa, expected to lead the rotation along with righty Chad Bettis, gave up eight hits and four runs in five innings.
"Everything was bad," De La Rosa said. "It was a bad game today.
"I felt really good. I had no luck there, especially with [Brandon] Belt [two broken-bat hits]. Today my location was bad, so that's why I got hit. ... I hope everything bad happens now and not in the season."
Giants starter Clayton Blackburn lasted four innings, yielding three runs (two earned) and striking out three.

After the game, Bochy announced plans to option Blackburn to Triple-A Sacramento so the rookie right-hander can begin building his pitching stamina by throwing more innings.
"He throws four pitches, and he has an idea of what he wants to do," Bochy said, indicating that Blackburn, the 2015 Pacific Coast League ERA champion, could be summoned to the Majors sooner than later.
Giants Up Next:Jeff Samardzija, who was roughed up in his previous outing, will start Monday against Oakland in a 1:05 p.m. PT encounter at Scottsdale. Samardzija yielded seven earned runs in four innings to Seattle last Wednesday after yielding five runs in nine innings in his preceding three starts.
Up next for Rockies: Righty Chad Bettis is slated for 75-80 pitches against the Rangers at Surprise, Ariz., on Monday at 2:05 p.m. MT. Also, righty David Hale, who has been recovering from a right hamstring injury, is slated for 30-35 pitches in his Cactus League debut.
